Small Sikh Weddings have become the norm during 2020. No one really saw it coming! However, my amazing couples have adapted to this norm with smaller, intimate weddings. Of course Sikh weddings are usually huge events. Indeed there have been some major adjustments. Mainly around the number of guests allowed, of course due to Coronavirus.
Gurjeet and Sameer’s wedding day was lovely to photograph. Although the guest numbers were small, they both really did have a memorable day. The bride had her makeup done by the amazing Ambreen. I’ve featured her before in my blog about the best Asian bridal makeup artists I’ve worked with. In this case she did an incredible job.
Also Gurjeet wore a stunning wedding dress from Frontier Raas, looking simply stunning. Especially coupled with stunning jewellery from Bees. Meanwhile Sameer had his turban tied by the awesome guys at Pagh Vala.
I hope you enjoy this small preview of what a small Sikh wedding can look like…
I loved spending the morning capturing some natural portraits and moments with Gurjeet and her family.
In brief, the bride was glowing with beauty!
The lovely small Sikh wedding took place at Seven Kings Gurdwara. As you can see, it looked beautiful and light. Likewise, the couples outfits complimented the venue nicely.
After the Sikh wedding ceremony, we went to a nearby park for some couple portraits. Furthermore, the couple radiated love and had a great time!
In conclusion, small Sikh weddings can be amazing too. The couple had the time to really enjoy the day. Compared to huge weddings, where usually the couple don’t have a second for themselves!
If you’re having a small Sikh wedding, or a smaller intimate wedding, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! I love to photograph Asian weddings!
