I am always on the lookout for unique and inspiring venues for my clients’ celebrations, certainly the Natural History Museum in London is one that stands out. To begin with I had the pleasure of photographing Riya and Krishan’s beautiful Indian reception at this iconic location, and it was an unforgettable experience. In fact I’d always wanted to photograph an event there!
The Natural History Museum is a truly spectacular venue, indeed it was the perfect setting for this Indian reception. Coupled with the grand architecture, stunning exhibits and beautiful lighting it created the perfect backdrop for the celebrations. As a result, the guests were in awe of the magnificent setting, and it added a sense of wonder and magic to the already special occasion.
In short the reception itself was a lively and joyous celebration, complete with delicious food, music and dancing. Specifically the couple had DJ’s from Kudos and the dance floor was packed all night long with guests enjoying the great music. Moreover the decor from Dream Occasions was sublime. It certainly complimented the museum’s grand architecture!

Apart from the amazing decor, the couple also looked spectacular!
One of the highlights of the evening was the couple’s entrance, where they came in with full of energy, cutting the cake and then performing their first dance, surrounded by their family and friends, making it an unforgettable moment to capture.
The Natural History Museum is not only a beautiful venue, but it also holds a lot of historical significance, making it a perfect location to celebrate and document such a special occasion. The couple and their families were so kind and welcoming, and it was an honour to be a part of their special day.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to photograph such a unique and beautiful Indian reception at the Natural History Museum in London. The museum’s grandeur and beauty added to the magic of the day, and I am so happy to have been able to document these special memories for the couple and their families.
