I had a great time with Leela and Jay on their prewedding shoot in a wheat field during sunset. It was mid-summer so we had an extended period of dusk. Therefore we had a longer time to play with the beautiful golden light.
Although it was their first shoot together, Leela and Jay were very easy to work with. In fact they were complete naturals in front of the camera. I made sure to keep things fun for them! Besides that’s what they wanted from the shoot – to have a good time, as well as get some lovely photos!
In general I like to keep my photos natural, and I also managed to get creative with these ‘ring of fire’ shots, all created in camera.
In particular I let the couples personalities shine through. For instance when Jay gave Leela a piggyback, it brought a lot of natural laughs! I love these photos.
In order to get the very best photos, it’s important that the couple feel comfortable in front of the camera. So that they can really express themselves and show intimacy between each other.
To conclude, if you loved this sunset prewedding shoot in a wheat field and would like something similar, please feel free to get in touch!
