The beautiful city of Cambridge was the destination for Hardeep and Amar’s prewedding shoot, with some fun punting too! Who needs Venice!?
We started out on the River Cam, which runs through the city. As well as a prewedding shoot, the couple also got to enjoy the main sights of Cambridge along the river with some punting. These include The Bridge of Sighs, which is inspired by a Venetian bridge of the same name. They also saw the stunning grounds of Cambridge University.
It was a nice, relaxing and fun time for the couple, as they got used to being in front of the camera. It wasn’t so relaxing when Hardeep had a go at punting himself! It’s much more difficult than it looks! As well as trying to control the small floating vessel, he also tried not to fall into the river! The couple had many laughs and spoke afterwards about what a great experience it was. In fact, a prewedding shoot doesn’t have to be a chore, you can always choose to do something fun!
Later, we explored the gorgeous botanic gardens in Cambridge which provided some lovely backdrops for some photos!
The streets of Cambridge are steeped in history and have many rustic features which are also great to photograph.
Together with Hardeep and Amar, we had a great time on their prewedding shoot in Cambridge, with the punting definitely a highlight! Moreover, it was great to capture their playful personalities and love for each other.
I have previously photographed another prewedding shoot in Cambridge before, which also included some punting fun!
