It was a pleasure to photograph Samra and Nimai’s wedding reception at Addington Palace. Addington Palace is an historic venue and was the perfect place to have an Asian wedding reception. Particularly with the beautiful grounds and huge marquee!
To start the day I photographed Samra at her home. Also it was great to work alongside the talented makeup artist Ambreen. As well as Elena Marko, the excellent hair stylist.
I knew Samra and Nimai would be easy to work with as a couple. Especially as we had so much fun on their prewedding shoot in Cambridge. After that, I was very excited to photograph their Asian wedding at Addington Palace.
We captured some great memories from the morning coverage. For example, with the bridal parties having a few drinks!
Later we went to St Andrew’s Church in Ilford for the religious ceremony. Being that it was an Asian wedding, there was plenty of fun and dancing beforehand!
Meanwhile, Samra turned up looking stunning in her white wedding dress.
After that, the moment they saw each other at the alter was very special. As much as Nimai tried to stay cool, his face said otherwise!
As soon as the ceremony was underway, there were so many lovely moments.
The church was so nice to photograph in!
Eventually with the vows and rings exchanged, the couple walked down the aisle happily married!
The couple were so stylish! They were so at ease in front of the camera.
Later we went to Addington Palace for the Asian wedding reception. It certainly looked incredible! RWS did a stunning job on the décor.
After the first dance, the couple got changed into their Indian outfits.
In conclusion, if you’re having an Asian wedding or reception at Addington Palace, feel free to get in touch!
