I have had the privilege of capturing many beautiful and unique celebrations, but one that stood out particularly was the Hindu wedding of a famous cake maker at her home in a beautiful white marquee. I’m talking about the super talented Karisha of Creme De Le Cakes of course!

Firstly the Hindu wedding itself was breath-taking, as the couple had decided to have the wedding at their own home, situated at the back of the house. Secondly the couple had set up a grand marquee in the garden, which was decorated with beautiful flowers, lights and traditional Hindu decorations. Indeed the marquee was a stunning sight, and it made for the perfect backdrop for the wedding ceremony and reception.

Karisha looked absolutely stunning, particularly in her off white lehenga and Jessel was handsome in his traditional attire. Especially being a home wedding, the ceremony felt very intimate. In fact it was filled with love, joy and lots of laughs. To clarify it was an honour to be able to document these special moments for the couple and their families.

As you can see Karisha certainly dazzled in her outfit! Since she had Ambreen on makeup, and Aamir Naveed on hair, she had a dream team! Coupled with an Anushree Reddy dress, it was a match made in heaven!

Reception vibes!

Later, it was all change for a fun filled reception! In any event, all the guests got involved in the dancing! Following the champagne tower, the couple had a great first dance.

Overall, it was an unforgettable day and I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to photograph such a beautiful and unique Hindu wedding. The couple’s love and commitment to each other was evident throughout the day, markedly was so many smiles and laughs. and it was a pleasure to be able to capture these special moments for them.
